Course Overview
Through expert lecture and class exercises, this course prepares the student to take on or improve the risk management specialist role on his or her organization’s project teams. In addition to preparing the student for the PMI-RMP® certification exam, this course teaches basic project management skills and improves the student’s expertise in minimizing risk to employers.

This training is intended for professionals looking to establish and fill the role of the risk management specialist.
Students should have either:
– Secondary degrees such as a high school diploma, GED, Associate’s degree or international equivalent
– 4,500+ hours of project risk management experience
– 40+ hours of project risk management education
OR
– Four-year degrees such as a Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent
– 3,000+ years of project management experience
– 30+ hours of project management education
